Valencian Prime Minister Presents the Valencia F 1 Circuit amid much Fanfare

The Valencian Prime Minister Mr. Francisco Camps has presented the city's F1 urban circuit to the international media as well as 10 of the 11 F 1 teams. The presentation kicked off to the tune of U2's "Vertigo" which is surely symbolic of things to come this August 24th.

The high point of the presentation was the unveiling of a virtual video that allows spectators to career virtually around the circuit at breakneck speeds. Valencia's city circuit will be the 3rd fastest on the F 1 calendar with a max speed of 323.3 km/h and a minimum speed of 95.2 km/h. The average speed will be a formidable 201 km/h. In total the circuit will run for 5.47 kms. Only Indianapolis and Monza surpass Valencia re the maximum speed achievable with max speeds of over 340 km/h.

The presentation also outlined the the circuit's security, logistics and installations with particular emphasis being placed on the various escapes/run offs, there being 9 in total as well as the "energy dissipation barriers" made up principally of rows of tires so as to lessen the impact of any crash.

The pits will be situated in "Tinglado No. 4" which is a protected historical building. Each pit garage module will have its own electric generators, lighting, telecommunication links, water, compressed air, drainage system, smoke extraction systems as well as fire detection and fire extinction systems.

The circuit will have a total seating capacity of 112,771 spectators seated in 27 different stands around the circuit (see above map). Twelve of these stands will be in the marina area itself where 60% of the circuit takes place. Tickets go on sale next month with prices varying on average between €200 and €400. Tickets will be available at the following outlets only : branches of Bancaja bank, El Corte Ingles shops and Cheste racetrack.

Both Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen have already declared their affection for both the city and its new world class urban circuit with Louis telling reporters how much he loves the city : " I love Valencia, it's very nice". Kimi has desciribed the circuit as being "very good". Only time will tell if Valencia will be Monaco's successor. For the moment F 1 fans can enjoy at least 7 years of what should be breathtaking F 1 racing around the city's America's Cup marina.

This is great news for all those property buyers who have bought prime F 1 Valencia property recently. If the "European Grand Prix" remains in Valencia indefinitely post 2014 then these investors will be singing all the way to the bank.

All the more reason to pick Valencia's Premier Property Search and Property Investment Company "Valencia Property Hound" if you intend to invest in F 1 property.
