Valencia Property Hound is delighted to announce the start of a new “Valencia Yacht Charter” company called “Silver Fox Sailing”. Silver Fox Sailing has been set up by a group of sailing enthusiasts who have developed a great fondness for the vibrant Mediterranean city of Valencia and all that Valencia has to offer. With time we intend to have a varied fleet of boats available for charter with a Gib Sea on the way and a Dufour 34 Performance ready to go from March 1 st .

The Dufour 34 Performance is no stranger to Spanish waters having won the prestigious Copa del Rey (King's Cup) in both 2003 & 2004 and more recently the Spi Quest France in 2008. The boat has received rave reviews from the yachting press with James Jermain of yachting monthly enthusing about its “sparkling performance” and it being “delightful to handle, quick and responsive” with “offshore conditions below deck thanks to a reassuring layout”.

Ireland 's yachting magazine “Afloat Ireland” dubbed the Dufour 34 Performance “an attractively European boat and very much of the 21 st Century” while at the same time being struck by the boat's “French flair and Italian Design”.

Our boats will be moored at the Marina Rey Juan Carlos 1 in Valencia city. The King Juan Carlos Marina apart from being the biggest marina in the Med also successfully played host to the 32 nd edition of the America 's Cup in 2007 and all going well the 33 rd edition of the America 's Cup will also take place in Valencia either in 2010 or 2011. Our moorings are situated in the outer marina next to lap 10 of Formula 1's Valencia Street Circuit. At present we have availability re yacht rental for the week of this year's F1 which will take place on August 23 rd .Clients renting that weekend will have rights to grandstand tickets and all of the 24 hour services available at the marina that weekend such as private catering, day trips, beauty treatments, city shopping tours etc as well as the option of sailing at one's leisure while Hamilton, Alonso & Co. will be hurtling around the marina at speeds in excess of 300 kmh..
